1959 FIAT 600 series 1

What we have here is a 1959 Fiat 600 series 1. This car was rescued from a junkyard. I believe sometime in the 70s. The car stayed with the family all these years, but had not been driven since 1989.

As you can see this car has its share of rust that comes from being left outside. I have to say that every Fiat suffers from rust, no matter what. With these 1st photos...I’m just really showing you where the car had been sitting since 1989 and that you can put it in a U-Haul trailer! The photos don’t show show bad the floors were (more later) that had to be replaced and the car had to be dipped. I plan to show several series of photos in the near future. At the present time, the body is painted and mechanical items are being attended to…So enjoy the horror show!
